Vintage 'KC' Dolphins Sealife Brooch

This fabulous brooch is from US makers 'KC' (Kenneth Cole), known for their detailed and intricate - and often colourful - brooches. This one is a stunner! Depicting a glorious underwater scene of two dolphins, a turtle, a starfish and bright green seaweed, this is not only unusual but highly visual too! Enamelled on brushed finish silver-tone pewter, it has a slight Art Nouveau feel to it with the open/cut-out work and scrolling effect of the 'waves' which the dolphins are riding. It is further enhanced with three pretty, clear round crystals/gems. Despite being vintage, it is in super condition! It's for sale thorough my shop on Etsy.

The brooch measures approx. 2” wide and just over 1½” tall. It has a straight, strong, secure and working roll-over clasp on the back, where the initials 'KC' can also clearly be seen.
