Vintage Tri-colour Sun Brooch

This attractive brooch (possibly originally hand made) is in tri-coloured metals of brass, silver and bronze. The 'rays' of the sun are etched and the sun itself has a (rather serious) face! Although the 'rays' are in the alternating colours, the main 'body' of the brooch is in a brass colour. It's for sale through my shop on Etsy.

Despite being vintage (possibly as early as 1970s), the brooch is in very good condition. It measures just under 2" in diameter (furthest points of the rays) and has a straight, strong and secure working clasp on the back. It is unmarked but has the look and feel of an artisan/handmade item.

Such a heavenly brooch would surely be bound to brighten up the dullest of outfits and bring a ray of sunshine to any wearer or collector!
