Literature Text

I dreamt I grew wild apples
On a heavy old oak tree
And saw pretty little birds
Swimming in the sea

I also saw you by my side
You said that you loved me
But then I woke up all at once
To face cold hard reality

--------------------------------

There were just acorns growing
On my newly planted tree
And plain old boring fish
Caught that morning from the sea

The spare soft pillow in my bed
Was noticeably free
And I knew at once it was a dream
As you never could love me

Aw, I love this piece. Kinda sad, though.
