It was only when creating artwork from the 1980's mini-series 'The Thorn Birds' earlier today that I suddenly realised there was something uncannily similar about Messrs. Chamberlain and Rickman when they were both younger ... face shape maybe? Eyes? Mouth/lips? Not noses obviously. But they are both 6' 1" and move very gracefully and, in my humble opinion, both have that kind of intenseness and stillness about them.

However, they are both very different men and very different actors who've led very different lives and had very different careers. They are also separated by 12 years (Richard Chamberlain is now [incredibly] 80, and Alan Rickman 68) and, as can be seen, have aged very differently too!
